Learn from my Mistake
Don’t let your caterer be your furniture and linen rental liaison. Why?
Picture this.
You are having a 5 hour long wedding beginning at 4pm. You are paying your caterer X dollars per employee per hour. These employees include chefs, wait staff, etc.
You want to get your tables and linens set up at say 10am so you can get the decorations, place cards, etc in place.
Oops, now you’ve just hired your caterer for 11 hours instead of the 7 hours you really need them for. While your venue is all set up and you’re busy getting all dressed up, your catering staff will be getting paid for that whole time.
Do yourself a favor and have the rentals show up at whatever time you need them there then have the caterer show up when you actually need the food there.
